The Briefing Note “Aid Effectiveness and Africa” is a document resulting from the EUWI-AWG Aid Effectiveness seminar held at the SWWW 2010. High-level declarations call for accelerated progress to meet water and sanitation targets. However, enormous challenges still exist for recipient countries to access and make effective use of aid. This Briefing Note lists a number of crucial issues that need to be addressed as well as recommendations for the sector.
